It’s yet another chaotic week in Emmerdale as the residents of the Yorkshire-based soap face another whirlwind of drama and unanswered questions.

In recent weeks, Charity was convinced the implant wasn’t a success after offering to be Sarah Sugden’s surrogate – only to be shocked when it was revealed she was pregnant.

Flashbacks showed her one night stand with former flame Ross Barton, who is worried that Charity’s baby could be is.

Meanwhile, Mack uncovered a secret about John Sugden, and his wellbeing is still a mystery to viewers. Not to mention, that Robert and Aaron finally gave into temptation and spent the night together.

Ross has a demand for a worried Charity…

When Ross overhears Sarah telling Vanessa that Mackenzie’s ended things with Charity. He confronts her and asks if Mack left because he found out about their infidelity. Charity denies the accusations and throws Ross out. Later when Vanessa offers Charity her shoulder to cry on, overwhelmed Charity breaks down and admits that there’s a chance Sarah’s baby isn’t hers.

Charity doesn’t correct Vanessa when she assumes she slept with Mack, not Ross. Vanessa urges her to tell her family but Charity remains adamant in keeping the secret and hoping for the best and begs Vanessa to keep her secret as she resolves to live in denial. Charity does her best to dispel Ross’ assumptions about the baby.

He’s unsure whether to believe her when she claims that she’s had tests done at the hospital in order to confirm the baby’s parentage. When Charity refuses to show Ross the results of the test, Ross demands one of his own. Charity’s at breaking point to realise she now has yet another problem on her hands.

Dylan tells Ray he’s made a decision…

Ray puts doubts in Dylan’s head when he tells him Paddy’s kindness can’t be solely altruistic. Feigning parental care, Ray assures Dylan that he’ll look out for him and pays him in advance for another job. The next day, April’s concerned by Dylan’s suspicious behaviour when she sees him getting into a strangers car. Marlon is confused why April’s so stressed about Dylan going to work and entreats her to open up to him.

April reminds her dad about Dylan’s history with sex work and thinks Dylan might be up to his old tricks, whilst Marlon comforts her, horrified at the reminder of what they’ve both had to deal with. Marlon struggles to process the implications of April’s suspicions. Upset and wishing she’d not told her dad, April heads out whilst Marlon prepares to update Paddy. Seeing Dylan exit the stranger’s car outside the Vets, April accosts him and is relieved to realise he did a drugs drop rather than sex work.

When Paddy and Marlon catch up with them, Dylan’s upset to realise they too now know about his past. Back at Tenants, Dylan tells April he feels humiliated by the fact that she divulged his secrets to Marlon and Paddy. Worried he might end things, April tells Dylan that she loves him but he quickly becomes emotional and is unable to process her betrayal.

Dylan’s touched when Paddy reiterates that he won’t judge him for his past. Keen to stay on the straight and narrow, Dylan meets Ray and tells him that he wants a break from working for him. Will Ray be willing to let him go?

Moira gives Dylan a taste of his own medicine…

Kyle is stunned to see Dylan and panicked, Dylan begs him to keep his identity a secret. Back at Butlers, a scared Kyle tells Moira that Dylan is the person who tried to rob them. Kyle’s anxious when Moira promises to confront Dylan in order to protect her farm and family. Unaware of their potential conflict, Chas convinces Dylan to help Moira on the farm.

Dylan’s unsettled when Moira appears ignorant about his conversation with Kyle and pressures him into going up to Butlers with her. When April hears that Moira’s taken Dylan up to the farm, she’s left with no choice but to tell Chas that he was the person Kyle stabbed. Chas is appalled whilst Marlon and April rush to Butlers to prevent any further conflict between the two.

Moira confronts Dylan about breaking into the farm. Dylan’s terrified when she promises him a taste of his own medicine and grabs a pitchfork.

Vinny feels guilt over causing a heartbreak…

When Gabby tells Belle that Kammy beat Vinny up she’s shaken to realise that she’s been taken in by a violent man once again. Belle visits Kammy whilst he’s working at the garage and calls it off with him. Despite his protestations, Kammy’s frustrated that Belle’s dumped him over something he didn’t do.

Vinny’s guilty when he hears about the breakdown of Belle and Kammy’s relationship. When Belle arrives for a chat, Vinny cannot bring himself to tell her the truth but reassures her that Kammy’s a good person. Vinny later finds Kammy and apologises to him for ruining his chances with Belle. When a gutted Kammy refuses to accept the apology, Vinny’s guilt only increases..

Seeing Belle in the Woolpack, Kammy asks her for another chance but is gutted when she refuses to take a risk on him after all she went through with Tom. Later that day, Vinny’s gutted to see how disappointed Belle is about Kammy and kicks himself for all the trouble he’s caused.

Elsewhere in the village…

Chas urges Robert to let Aaron go. Dylan’s grateful when Marlon offers him a pot-washing job at the Woolpack. Robert and Ross argue about farm work but it quickly gets personal when Ross accuses Robert of not pulling his weight around the farm.

The argument soon turns into a competition to see who can do the task the fastest: the Bartons or the Sugdens. Charity crumbles at the idea that she’s lost Mack for good. Aaron makes a shocking discovery and accuses John of lying to him.
