The Emmerdale cast are supporting this year’s The Great Scone Palace Challenge, which raises money for farming charity RSABI (Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution).
Inside Soap and Digital Spy are offering one lucky reader and a guest the chance to attend the event’s Welcome Party on the evening of Friday 12 September at Perth Race Course, which will include entertainment from Emmerdale’s own cast band!
But as well as a night with the stars, you will also win a money-can’t-Sbuy tour of the Emmerdale studio in Leeds.
Not usually open to the public, you’ll get to see the show’s indoor sets and even have lunch in the cast and crew canteen!

For full details on how to enter, visit hearstmagazines.co.uk/emmerdalecomp. Travel and accommodation are not included. (Please note the tour is over 18s only and the date will be set by Emmerdale and unfortunately won’t be flexible. The village exterior set is not part of the tour.)
One of the cast who’s involved in supporting the RSABI is Nicola Wheeler, who plays the outspoken Nicola King on the ITV soap.
Speaking to us this week, Nicola explained: “Obviously on the show we’ve addressed Moira’s financial worries, and it’s that sort thing that this charity – the RSABI – helps farmers deal with.
“Things like legal issues, advice, emotional support, all sorts of stuff, but it’s also a community for farmers. As Emmerdale is the ‘farming soap’, we got involved and we’re supporting this event at the very glamorous Scone Palace in Perth.”

She continued: “It’s the first time I’ve been to a ball at a palace. I was joking with Lisa Riley [who plays Mandy] that I’ve lost my shoe on quite a few nights out, but never as Cinderella! We have events like tractor pulling and a maze, but we also have the ball and the Emmerdale band is playing.”
