Jamal Menzies, who appeared on the series because of his mom, Kimberly Menzies’, relationship with Usman “Soja Boy” Umar, dated Veronica Rodriguez, who appeared on the show with her ex, Tim Malcolm. Their relationship was featured on 90 Day: The Single Life.
Still, going from dating one person on a reality show to dating another person within the same reality show franchise is bound to raise eyebrows.

Josh Worked With Jen’s Family
Josh and Jen didn’t meet through 90 Day Fiancé. Rather, Josh said on the Tell All that he had known Jen and her family socially for years. Jen confirmed it, saying her sister Elizabeth “Libby” Castravet and her mother had worked for him. Josh works in the entertainment industry, and Libby used to work as an actress, so it makes sense that they may have worked together in the past.
Josh and Jen met separately from reality TV, which is better for their relationship than having met on the show. I think it’s suspicious when reality stars only date other reality stars, especially Jen and Josh. Jen, who appeared on the show as Libby’s big sister, was a fan favorite since audiences got to know the entire Potthast family as Libby and her husband, Andrei Castravet, navigated the K1 Visa process so Andrei could live in the U.S. with Libby. Andrei is originally from Moldova.

I hope these two are entering into a relationship with good intentions, and aren’t just trying to extend their 15 minutes of fame by making themselves the subjects of a potential storyline on any 90 Day Fiancé franchise series.
Since Jen and Josh are American citizens, their story wouldn’t fit the format of 90 Day Fiancé, which focuses on cross-cultural couples and their stories. You never know how the show’s production teams will respond, however. They might decide audiences want to know more about Josh and Jen, which would further my suspicion that the two are together for clout.
